Kelly Oubre Jr. Erupts For 25-Point Double-Double Off Bench
6 years agoPhoenix Suns small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. took the increased offensive role he was handed during Friday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors and ran with it. He fired up a career-high 19 shots off the bench, delivering his second double-double of the year with 25 points and a career-high 12 rebounds to his credit. Oubre Jr. has come off the bench in all 26 games he has appeared in with Phoenix, but with Devin Booker and T.J. Warren absent Friday, Oubre Jr. had carte blanche to use his offensive arsenal. The fourth-year wing has averaged 15.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest in his short time with the Suns, making him a legitimate fantasy option in all formats.
