5 years agoPhoenix Suns small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. crashed the glass during Thursday’s overtime win against the New Orleans Pelicans like he never has in his professional career, accumulating a new career-best 15 boards across his 47 minutes. He utilized his massive timeshare to add 14 points -- good for his third double-double of the year -- while also pitching in a season-high four blocks to go along with three steals. It was an all-around massive performance from Oubre, who has seen a slight uptick in role without center Aron Baynes in the lineup. Should that trend continue Saturday versus Houston, Oubre could be in line for another stellar evening.--Jesse Borek
