6 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker was unable to lead his team to victory Monday against the Golden State Warriors, but you cannot doubt that he tried. Walker shot 9-for-24 from the field overall, including 3-for-12 from three during his 23-point performance. Walker has now attempted at least nine threes in nine of his last 10 outings, averaging 20.3 field goal attempts per game overall this season. His next outing comes Wednesday against the Houston Rockets, who have done a solid job corralling opposing point guards this season with Chris Paul looming to check Walker. With James Harden in the building, Walker could be tasked with having to match the enormous scoring output of his opposition.--Jesse Borek
