6 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker finished Sunday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks with 22 points on 7-for-23 shooting, including having his game-winning shot attempt at the buzzer blocked by John Collins. It’s been a year of heroics for Walker, but the final two possessions Sunday left owners wanting, even if he did contribute nine assists, five rebounds and four made threes without the luxury of backup Tony Parker. His next chance at redemption comes Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks on the second leg of a back-to-back.--Jesse Borek
