6 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker was in all kinds of foul trouble early, picking up two quick personal fouls in Tuesday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Walker’s issues kept him to just 28 minutes for the contest, shooting 8-for-18 from the field en route to a 21-point outing. He added four rebounds, four assists and two made triples to balance out his stat line. He remains the Hornets’ best chance to running down the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference, so expect head coach James Borrego to rely on Walker heavily over the final 12 games, the next of which comes Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have been ravaged by injuries at the point guard spot.--Jesse Borek
