Kemba Walker Makes Just Five Field Goals In Loss
7 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard Kemba Walker could not find the touch in a loss to Oklahoma City on Saturday. Walker shot 5-for-17 from the field and 2-for-7 from three. The Hornets as a team shot 40 percent, so it wasn't all Walker's fault, but he didn't help. The former Husky finished with 19 points thanks to a tidy 7-for-8 from the free throw line. After a 41-point outburst on Wednesday, Walker totaled 41 points in the Hornets last two games in a back-to-back. The team gets Sunday off and then is at Detroit for an early game on Martin Luther King Day. Walker scored 24 points the last time Charlotte played Detroit, so expect more of the same.
