Kemba Walker Posts Another Solid Scoring Night
7 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard Kemba Walker had a game-high 26 points in a win over Sacramento on Monday. He also added six rebounds and nine assists. Walker really struggled from the field, however, finishing 6-for-20 and 5-for-14 from three. Walker's 21.7 points-per-game average is tied for 20th in the NBA, but his field goal percentage ranks dead last among those 21 players. Walker is dealing with a lot as the trade deadline looms. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Charlotte was recently shopping Walker. When asked about the trade, Walker said he would be "devastated" should he be traded. In response, Hornets owner Michael Jordan said, "I love Kemba Walker. I would not trade him for anything but an All-Star player." As long as you can stomach the field goal percentage, Walker will continue to give you around 20 points a game no matter who he plays for going forward.
