Kemba Walker Pours In 31 Points During Win
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker went off for 31 points during Wednesday’s victory over the Detroit Pistons, flirting with a triple-double as well by posting nine assists and eight rebounds. His scoring outburst came on a shaky 8-for-25 shooting overall -- including 4-for-11 from deep -- but marks his highest total since Nov. 19. Walker continues to show no signs of slowing offensively, currently third in the league at 9.2 three-point attempts per night. While his 43.1 percent field-goal percentage is far from a detriment, the fact that Walker is averaging career highs in points (26.0), assists (6.3), rebounds (4.5) and made threes (3.3) per game helps lead him into elite fantasy asset territory this season.
