Kemba Walker Tops 20-Point Plateau For Fifth Straight Game
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker scored 23 points, doled out seven assists, grabbed three rebounds, blocked one shot, came up with a steal and committed three turnovers in Sunday's loss to the Pacers. He was 8-for-18 from the field, 3-for-9 from the three-point line and 4-for-5 from the charity stripe. It was the fifth straight game that he tallied at least 21 points and the sixth game in a row that the 28-year-old has connected on three or more three-pointers. Walker and the Hornets have a few days before traveling to the Grizzlies (Wednesday). The Grizzlies have been one of the worst in the league at defending opposing point guards all season as they are allowing 24.5 points, 8.8 assists and 6.8 rebounds to them.
