Kemba Walker Will Miss Monday’s Contest
3 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Kemba Walker (rest) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Jazz. Walker's minutes total has been held in check (22.1 average) over his last eight contests, with just one such outing seeing him score in double figures. His absence stands to allow RJ Barrett and Alec Burks to take on elevated ball-handling duties, while Immanuel Quickley is in line for a minutes boost. While Walker enjoyed a tremendous three-game stretch just prior to Christmas, he has been held scoreless in two of his last three appearances, likely knocking him from season-long consideration in most formats. Fantasy managers can expect him back in the mix Tuesday against Denver.
