Kemba Walker Will Rest For Wednesday’s Contest
4 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker (knee, rest) will sit out the second leg of the team's back-to-back Wednesday when they take on the Knicks. The Celtics have not allowed Walker to play in two consecutive days this season, with his absence paving the way for Payton Pritchard to take on added DFS appeal despite the stingy New York defense. Entering Tuesday's outing, Walker had scored in double figures in 21 consecutive contests, having proven integral to the Boston offense whenever he's cleared for action. Fantasy managers can anticipate having Walker back with no restrictions Friday against Minnesota. Also working in Walker's favor is the fact that the Celtics won't play a back-to-back until April 22-23.
