Kendrick Nunn Remains Sidelined For Foreseeable Future
3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Kendrick Nunn (knee) is not close to a return to game action, head coach Frank Vogel revealed Monday. Nunn is still yet to make his season (and team) debut as he works his way back from a deep bruise in his right knee. The Lakers have been beset by injuries in the early portion of the year, with Nunn's absence allowing Rajon Rondo to serve as Russell Westbrook's primary backup. The southpaw has proven to be an adept scoring threat during his first two years in the league, averaging 15 points per night across 123 contests. With Nunn's return a ways off, and his role upon activation unclear, he can remain on the waiver wire in all season-long formats. Check back for relevant updates to his status as they become available.
