6 years agoHouston Rockets power forward/center Kenneth Faried squared off with his former team Friday, finishing with a season-high 23 points and six rebounds versus the Denver Nuggets. The outing marks his highest points total in a contest since Dec. 17, 2016, as a member of the Nuggets. Faried has seen a healthy dose of minutes in his six games since joining the Rockets, finishing all scoring in double figures. He’s back at it Saturday versus the Utah Jazz, but the return of Nene Hilario could cap Faried’s minutes, along with the fact that he’ll be playing in a back-to-back for the first time this season.--Jesse Borek
