6 years agoHouston Rockets power forward/center Kenneth Faried will be out of the fold for Wednesday’s matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies due to a sore left knee. Faried will join Nene Hilario (who is available only in case of emergency) on the bench, leaving the Rockets thin in the frontcourt, with P.J. Tucker and Clint Capela likely to see increased workloads. Faried has been battling injuries during the month of March, stunting his playing time after his career renaissance with the franchise during January and February. His next chance to suit up comes Friday against the San Antonio Spurs.--Jesse Borek
