2 years agoGolden State Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson is the favorite to be named the Hornets next head coach. The former Brooklyn Nets frontman is scheduled to meet with owner Michael Jordan within the next few days, with the meeting expected to be the last hurdle in the hiring process. Atkinson is a quality coach who is known for his player development prowess. D'Angelo Russell and Spencer Dinwiddie (among others) excelled under his watch.
