6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope went for a season-high 25 points off the bench during Sunday’s loss to the Washington Wizards, finishing 9-for-12 from the field overall, including 4-for-6 from deep. With trade rumors swirling around his name, Caldwell-Pope delivered his best game of the year, also adding six rebounds and a season-high five assists. With quiet nights from LeBron James and Josh Hart, Caldwell-Pope was largely able to benefit from the contest’s blowout nature, so it figures that owners should operate with a modicum of trepidation as it pertains to snatching up Caldwell-Pope off the wire.--Jesse Borek
