Kerryon Johnson Works Out With Raiders
3 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders hosted free-agent running back Kerryon Johnson for a visit on Tuesday. A former second-round pick, Johnson impressed as a rookie with the Lions in 2018 but saw his career go downhill due to injury. Last season, he amassed 71 touches for 368 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns. The Madison Academy product signed with the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason but was cut loose during training camp. While no deal is in place with Las Vegas, this is a step in the right direction. The Raiders current backfield consists of Josh Jacobs, Kenyan Drake and Trey Ragas. The team also has Jalen Richard (leg) on Injured Reserve and Peyton Barber on the practice squad. Fantasy managers should continue to ignore Johnson for now.
