Kessler Edwards Rejoins Brooklyn On Multi-Year Deal
2 years agoDespite having rescinded its qualifying offer on forward Kessler Edwards, the Brooklyn Nets have inked the 21-year-old to a new multi-year contract. A second-round selection in the 2021 NBA Draft, Edwards appeared in 48 games (23 starts) with the Nets last year and averaged 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. At 6-foot-8, Edwards provides valuable length for the Brooklyn frontcourt, although his fantasy outlook remains largely up in the air while the team sorts out the Kevin Durant/Kyrie Irving situation. Edwards stands out as a strong DFS option in favorable matchups, while he could play his way into sizable minutes as the '22-23 season carries on.
