4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte is out of the starting lineup Thursday against the Dodgers and left-hander Clayton Kershaw for just the second time all year. Josh Rojas will make the start at the keystone, with the D-backs lineup taking on a new look without Marte or former teammate Starling Marte, the first time all season that neither has been among the club’s starting nine. Marte’s power has dipped drastically since his 32-homer campaign in 2019, with just one roundtripper through his first 36 games this year. His next chance to return to the lineup comes Friday versus the Giants.--Jesse Borek
