3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (hamstring) was held out of action for the fourth straight game in Monday's clash with the San Diego Padres. Buddy Kennedy received his third consecutive start at the keystone for the day. Marte remains day-to-day with a mild left hamstring strain. The 28-year-old got off to a slow start to the season, hitting just .146/.211/.256 in April, but he went on to post a .964 OPS in May and he's slashing .300/.397/.540 so far in June. His next chance to play will be on Tuesday for Game 2 of the team's three-game series against the Padres.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
