4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ketel Marte (hamstring) is traveling to Nevada to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno on Monday, according to Jake Rill of MLB.com. Marte has been out since April 7 with a hamstring strain, and he just began increasing baseball activities earlier this week. While managers await the return of Marte — who was slashing .462/.500/.846 with two home runs over his first six games of the year — it will likely mean somewhat of a loss of playing time and value for guys like Josh Rojas and Pavin Smith, who have both benefited from the extended playing time.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
