Kevin Durant Drops 32 Points During Double-Double
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets small/power forward Kevin Durant put his extensive offensive arsenal on display in Tuesday's season-opening defeat vs. Milwaukee, shooting 13-for-25 from the floor overall en route to a 32-point showing. Durant was the focal point of the offense, as he figures to be for much of the season, irrespective of Kyrie Irving's (suspension) status. Most encouraging to Durant's overall production was that he added 11 rebounds, four assists and two blocks over his 30 minutes, an indication of the upside he possesses on a nightly basis. His next outing comes Friday against the 76ers, whom he scorched for 23 points in 26 minutes when they met during the preseason on Oct. 11.
