3 years agoBrooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Durant has shown virtually no rust in his return to action, delivering one of the premier offensive games of his career during Sunday's victory over the Knicks. Durant finished with a season-high 53 points on 19-for-37 shooting, marking his highest regular-season scoring total since Jan. 17, 2014, while he was with the Thunder. Playing 43 minutes, Durant also added nine assists, six rebounds, four made threes, and two steals, taking advantage of Kyrie Irving's absence under league policy. In five games since rejoining the mix, Durant has averaged 32 points, seven assists, and 6.6 boards per outing, firmly reestablishing his fantasy dominance.--Jesse Borek
