5 years agoNewly acquired Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant (Achilles) will not be playing this season, according to general manager Sean Marks. Durant tore his Achilles in the NBA Finals last year, but was rumored to make a possible return to the court at some point this upcoming season. Marks shot down this possibility, stating Durant would not be playing this season in order to rehab the injury. Without Durant, Taurean Prince, Caris Levert and Wilson Chandler (suspension) will likely have extra minutes at the three.
