Kevin Durant Puts Up 33 Points In Loss
7 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant had it going from the tip, scoring 33 points on eight of 13 shooting, including 14 of 15 from the charity stripe. Durant was motivated and traded baskets with Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook early on in the first quarter, in which he had 15 points. Durant didn't get much help from his Splash Brothers teammates in Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson, as they fell to 0-2 against the Thunder this season. Durant is on a bit of a roll lately, having now scored over 30 points in the past three games. The Warriors losing games is actually a good sign for his outlook, as the Warriors will look to secure the top seed in the Western Conference. Despite a somewhat average start to the season by Durant's standards, KD is still putting up top-five value in nine-category leagues. He's on pace for another 50 (field-goal percentage)/40 (three-point percentage)/90 (free-throw percentage) season.
