Kevin Durant Rescinds Trade Request
2 years agoBrooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant will remain with the team this season. Head coach Steve Nash, general manager Sean Marks, and governors Joe Tsai and Clara Wu Tsai met with Durant and his agent in Los Angeles. The meeting was productive, ultimately resulting in the 2014 MVP withdrawing his trade request. Kyrie Irving was already expected to play out the final year of his contract. However, with Durant staying with the Nets, it's nearly guaranteed Irving isn't going anywhere either. Nevertheless, with this situation now in the rearview mirror, fantasy managers can confidently select Durant during drafts heading into October. The 33-year-old is one of the best all-around fantasy producers, although his lack of durability is something for managers to consider.
