Kevin Durant Returns Thursday, Won’t Have Strict Minutes Cap
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Durant (knee) has rejoined the starting lineup for Thursday's contest vs. the Heat, having been out of action since Jan. 15 due to a sprained left MCL. Interim coach Jacque Vaughn disclosed that Durant would not be facing a preset restriction on his minutes, although the layoff is likely to keep many DFS managers from rolling the dice when considering his price tag. With Durant back in the mix, Seth Curry, Cam Thomas, and Patty Mills -- among others -- are set to see a slight reduction in offensive upside. Durant, who is shooting above 50 percent for the ninth consecutive year, went for 25 points and 11 boards against Miami in their most recent matchup back on Oct. 27.
