Kevin Durant Staying With Warriors
6 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant has agreed to terms that will keep him with the team, at least for one more year. The deal, which includes a player option for 2019-2020, would pay the former MVP $30 million this upcoming season and possibly $31.5 million the following year. Durant was productive and flourished as a member of one of the league's most explosive offenses, averaging 26.4 points and shooting an impressive 41 percent from behind the arc, the second-best average from deep of his career. He was also solid on the defensive end, finishing the year with nearly two blocks per game, but was plagued with various injuries throughout the season that forced him to miss 14 games as a result. Nonetheless, he is a top-10 fantasy option who will benefit fantasy owners immensely, especially if he can remain healthy and on the court.
