Kevin Durant Will Quarantine, Miss At Least One Week
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Durant has been ruled out for Tuesday's contest versus the Jazz due to the league's COVID-19 protocols. Exposure to a positive COVID-19 test will knock Durant to the sidelines for the next seven days, in which the Nets are scheduled to play four contests. Jeff Green and Taurean Prince can be expected to serve larger roles in the frontcourt without Durant available, while Kyrie Irving and Caris Levert will likely take on increased scoring duties. Durant has looked tremendous in his first six games back since tearing his Achilles tendon, averaging 28.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest on 51.4 percent shooting. His next chance at suiting up will likely come on Jan. 12 against Denver, assuming he clears all the necessary tests by that time.
