Kevin Durant Will Return For Saturday’s Contest
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Durant has reportedly cleared the league's health and safety protocols and is on track to play in Saturday's game versus Golden State. Durant has missed each of the Nets' three previous outings after being deemed a close contact of someone who tested positive for COVID-19, forcing him into quarantine. In games in which he has been cleared for the entire contest, Durant has not failed to reach the 20-point plateau this season, and he will likely be carrying some extra motivation when facing his former team Saturday on the heels of his mandated absence. The fantasy appeal of James Harden and Kyrie Irving remains high, but Joe Harris, Bruce Brown, and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot -- among others -- figure to take a step back in intrigue with the Big 3 all cleared to suit up.
