2 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Kevin Gausman (ankle) was scratched from his scheduled start against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday. According to Blue Jays reporter Scott Mitchell, there's a chance that Gausman could make his next start on Thursday against the Kansas City Royals. However, Mitchell stated that Jays manager Charlie Montoyo couldn't commit to that schedule. Gausman is dealing with a right ankle injury. He suffered the injury during his start against the Tampa Bay Rays back on July 2 and we haven't seen him on the mound since.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
