Kevin Huerter Fires Up Career-High 22 Shots In 25-Point Outing
5 years agoAtlanta Hawks shooting guard Kevin Huerter became the team’s No. 1 scoring option during Friday’s loss to the Boston Celtics without Trae Young (ankle) available and he took advantage of his new role by firing up a career-best 22 shot attempts, which led to a 25-point evening. The 43 minutes that he logged also set a new season high, as he added seven rebounds and a team-best six assists. Huerter has become Atlanta’s ironman, as well as their primary sharpshooting option, having fired up an average of 8.2 three-point attempts across 38.3 minutes over his last six outings. Owners who highly value those metrics can target Huerter ahead of Sunday’s outing against the Knicks.
