Kevin Huerter Likely To Log First Absence Of Year Wednesday
4 years agoAtlanta Hawks small forward Kevin Huerter (shoulder) has been deemed doubtful to play in Wednesday's game against Philadelphia due to a sprained left shoulder. Huerter has appeared in all 62 games for the Hawks this season, the last 14 of which have come as a starter, averaging 15.6 PPG. Atlanta has been crushed by injuries throughout the month of April, with Huerter's likely absence set to open the door for more opportunities for Solomon Hill and Kris Dunn on the wing. Having shot 51.1 percent overall from the floor this month -- in addition to Trae Young's (ankle) absence -- Huerter is a must-roster fantasy asset in the vast majority of season-long formats during playoff competition. Barring a late change of fortune, expect his next chance to suit up to come Friday in a rematch with the 76ers.
