6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier (thumb) will head out on a rehab assignment next Tuesday. Kiermaier is aiming to be back somewhere around June 20, which will be several weeks ahead of schedule. Prior to hitting the disabled list, Kiermaier had a rough start to the 2018 season. In 48 plate appearances, Kiermaier had one steal, zero home runs and just a .163 batting average while striking out 37.5 percent of the time. Kiermaier has the potential to hit 10 home runs and steal 10 bases the rest of the season and is a .260 career hitter. Now is the time to look to add Kiermaier, especially in rotisserie leagues.--Ben Rolfe
