Kevin Love Breaks Hand Against Detroit
7 years agoCleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love (hand) played only five minutes before breaking his hand in Tuesday night's loss to the Detroit Pistons. Love officially suffered a non-displacement fracture of the fifth metacarpal in his left hand. Even though it is his non-shooting hand, expect Love to be about at least six to eight weeks. This puts his return right at the start of fantasy playoffs. In his absence, the Cavs could push to make a deal for a big man, but Jeff Green, Tristan Thompson and Channing Frye will receive immediate boosts in playing time. Ante Zizic could also jump into the rotation after a string of healthy scratches.
