Kevin Love Struggles With His Shot In Boston
5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love couldn't find his touch in the loss to the Celtics on Monday night, scoring just seven points in 26 minutes on 3-for-12 shooting from the field and 1-for-8 from deep to go along with 10 rebounds. Love's hot start to the season seemed too good to be true, and he's fallen back down to earth and into the fantasy abyss, averaging nine points per game on 35.2 percent shooting over his last six games -- that's while missing three games in between as well. Love is a potentially hot-trade candidate, and that seems like the only thing that could save his fantasy value right now. Trade him for pennies on the dollar, or play the risky waiting game to see if he ends up in a place that would better utilize his talents. Neither option is likely to bring the plentiful numbers he was producing earlier in the season, however.
