Kevin Porter Jr. Misses Third Straight Game Monday
3 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (thigh) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Celtics as he continues to battle a left thigh contusion. Porter's absence will mark his third straight, with Jalen Green and Eric Gordon having taken over primary PG duties without the southpaw on the floor. The 21-year-old has shown flashes of his exciting fantasy upside across his first 14 games this year, averaging 12.7 points and 5.1 assists on a nightly basis, but shooting just 36.3 percent overall. With Houston holding the league's worst record, they stand to continue shoveling as many minutes in Porter's direction as he can handle. His next chance to get back into action comes Wednesday vs. Chicago.
