3 years agoHouston Rockets point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (thigh) has been given the green light to get back on the floor for Wednesday's contest against Chicago. Porter Jr.'s absence ends at three games, with his presence likely leading to decreased ballhandling duties for Jalen Green and Eric Gordon. The 21-year-old southpaw has fired up double-digit shot attempts in 12 of his 14 contests this year, hitting at least one three in all but one outing. Despite Houston's massively slow start to the season, Porter's role is as safe as anyone's moving forward as the Rockets will continue to prioritize his development.--Jesse Borek
