6 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Kevon Looney went for 10 points and 10 rebounds in just 18 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 108-100 opening-game victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He also contributed with two assists, a steal and two blocked shots while hitting five of his 11 field-goal attempts. Looney has shown some glimpses of brilliance in the past, and he filled in admirably when Kevin Durant has been forced to miss time. He might see some added playing time this season with a slight increase in fantasy appeal, but really he needs a disaster to happen to Durant to be an option outside of deeper leagues despite the good start.--Daniel Dobish
