7 years agoOrlando Magic center Khem Birch posted 12 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks in 18 minutes on Tuesday against Minnesota. He was a late addition after Marreese Speights was a scratch to handle a personal matter. Birch made the most of his opportunity. For his career, Birch has played just 21 minutes, scoring only eight points and totaling five rebounds. He bested those numbers by halftime. While he was averaging 14 points and 10 rebounds with 2.7 blocks in the G-League, there is really no reason to expect him to match this production going forward. Birch has been in and out of the league all season and will probably head back down to the G-League once Speights returns.--Wai Sallas
