Khris Middleton Out For Game 1, As Expected
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton (knee) won't play during the series opener against Boston. This one isn't a surprise, as the veteran is expected to miss the entire second round after sustaining a Grade 2 left MCL sprain during the series versus the Chicago Bulls. Nonetheless, stranger things have happened, and players have returned sooner, especially during the playoffs. However, until Middleton is back in the mix, Bobby Portis, Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton, and Wesley Matthews, in that order, may benefit. Of course, it will likely be Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday doing most of the work on the offensive end while Middleton is sidelined.
