3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks small forward Khris Middleton (knee) has been downgraded to out for Friday's contest against the Pelicans due to a left knee hyperextension. Milwaukee's roster was already extremely thin entering the night due a combination of injury and the league's health and safety protocols, with Pat Connaughton and Rodney Hood the likeliest to benefit from Middleton's absence. Middleton enjoyed a seven-game stretch of reaching the 20-point plateau to begin December before being flummoxed Monday. His next chance to return to action comes Saturday vs. Cleveland, with the team potentially more comfortable playing their two-time All-Star just once during the back-to-back.--Jesse Borek
