3 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Killian Hayes (groin) and shooting guard Frank Jackson (back) have been ruled out for Friday's game vs. Boston. Hayes will miss a second straight outing due to a right adductor contusion that he sustained during Monday's outing, having recently enjoyed an elevated role among the second unit with Jackson unavailable. A bilateral lumbar spasm has sidelined Jackson for 10 of Detroit's last 11 outings, an indication that he will be down for the foreseeable future as he continues to get treatment. Without the duo, Saben Lee should get all of the second-unit run that he can handle, while Cade Cunningham and Cory Joseph are likely to see a handful of additional minutes and ball-handling opportunities as well.--Jesse Borek
