Killian Hayes Records Career-High 26-Point Effort In Victory

2 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Killian Hayes delivered arguably the best all-around performance of his professional career during Friday's win over Oklahoma City, dropping a career-best 26 points across 40 minutes. The Pistons thrust elevated offensive duties to Hayes and he responded by shooting 12-for-25 overall, in addition to adding eight assists, seven rebounds, five steals, and two blocks to his breakout outing. Field goal percentage has been a bugaboo for Hayes across his first two seasons in the NBA, but elevated volume has proven to be a solid helper for the 20-year-old. It's unclear what role Hayes will play Sunday against the Pacers, but he figures to continue seeing a sizable minutes allotment, which bodes well for his DFS appeal.--Jesse Borek
