Kirk Cousins Held To 172 Yards In Loss
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 21 of 29 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown in a 27-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional round. He also tossed one interception in the defeat. The 49ers Defense pressured Cousins all game long, and the Vikings' inability to get the running game going had an extremely negative effect on the offense as a whole. Cousins finished the year on a terrible note but had a career-best year with a 26/6 TD/INT ratio, over 3,600 passing yards, and a 69.1% completion percentage. There have been rumblings of the Vikings extending Cousins in the offseason as he is entering the final season of his three-year deal.
