Kirk Cousins Perfect In Preseason Debut
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was only given one drive to show off on Friday night, and he took full advantage of the opportunity. Cousins was 4-for-4 for 65 yards and a touchdown, throwing a one-yard score to Alexander Mattison following catches by Adam Thielen and Kyle Rudolph. The offense was very efficient on the drive, featuring Cousins under center, utilizing play-action, and showing some mobility in and out of the pocket - he even scrambled for 10 yards. Kirk Cousins could absolutely be a steal at his current 117 overall (QB17) ADP with the weapons he has at his disposal, but the Vikings expected run-game emphasis with a healthy Dalvin Cook puts a slight damper on his prospects. He's a QB2 with top-12 potential, draft accordingly.
