5 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was 8-for-10 passing for 98 yards and a touchdown on Sunday, adding six carries for four yards and a rushing touchdown. Cousins was not required to throw much - the Vikings got out to an early lead and Dalvin Cook mostly took over from there. However, the 10 passing attempts are a major red flag, and it does appear that the Vikings will look to feature a run-heavy offense this season. The passing attempts won't be this low again, but the apparent usage definitely lowers Cousins' floor. He'll be a middling QB2 on the road against the Packers next Sunday.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
