Klay Thompson Agrees To Extension With Warriors
5 years agoGolden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson has reportedly agreed to a five-year max extension to stay with the Warriors. Thompson will miss most of the 2019-2020 NBA season with an ACL tear, but could return after the All-Star break. If he does, his ability to pile up points via the three-point game can come in handy for fantasy owners down the stretch run. Thompson has never shot below 40 percent from three in a season, and last year he made 3.1 threes per game on his way to averaging 21.5 points per game. With Kevin Durant gone — whether via free agency or through a one-year absence from his torn Achilles — there will be chances for Thompson to put up even more points once he returns.
