Klay Thompson's First-Round Preview
7 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson made 57.9 percent of his three-point attempts in three meetings with the San Antonio Spurs during the regular season. Of all players in the NBA who shot at least 10 threes against the Spurs, Thompson had the sixth highest shooting percentage on those shots. This is notable because the Spurs have allowed the fourth lowest shooting percentage on three-pointers in the NBA this season. Thompson being able to still shoot well against them could be big for the Warriors chances of winning in the first round. Thompson averaged 20 points per game this season and 21.7 against the Spurs. Expect a strong offensive series from Thompson, especially if Stephen Curry sits out as expected.
