Klay Thompson Logs Season-High 34 Minutes In 20-Point Outing
3 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard/small forward Klay Thompson returned to action for Tuesday's victory over the Clippers and played a season-best 34 minutes, a significant step in his return to full game action. Thompson finished with 20 points as well, but he scuffled from the field to the tune of going 9-for-23 overall and 2-for-9 from behind the arc. With that being said, Thompson's track record speaks for itself moving forward, especially as he begins to find his footing in longer stretches of playing time. It remains unlikely that he will play in both legs of Golden State's four remaining back-to-backs this year, but his DFS appeal is rising entering Thursday against Denver as his time on the floor continues to trend upward.
